Entry age and the Rewards Club
The rules at the door of either Red Shores casino are few, and the first of them is age. The Rewards Club has a handful more, set out below by the Island concierge desk.

Who may enter
The gaming floors at both Red Shores casinos are for people 19 and older. Atlantic Lottery, which operates Red Shores, says players must be 19 or older to purchase, play or redeem its products. The Lotteries Commission Act also bans selling a lottery or race ticket to anyone under 19.
Neither casino publishes how identification is checked at the door. Should you plan an evening at either hall, carry valid government-issued photo ID. The same card is needed at the Rewards Club Desk, so one document serves both purposes.
Becoming a member
Membership in the Red Shores Rewards Club is free. It is taken in person at the Rewards Club Desk in the Charlottetown casino, 58 Kensington Road. Members must be 19 or older and bring valid government-issued photo ID to the desk. If you have a question before you go, the Rewards Club line is 902-620-4266. For anything else at the casino, the main line in Charlottetown is 902-620-4222.
How points are earned and lost
Slots earn 1 point for every $2 played. At the tables, points depend on how long you play and on your average bet. The card goes to the dealer before play starts, not after. Tables are in the Table Games room at the Charlottetown casino.
Points can be turned into slot credits through Points2Play. They also give discounts on dining. An account with no activity for 12 months in a row is deleted. Its points are lost at the same time. Should your visits to the island fall more than 12 months apart, expect the old balance to be gone.

How many points does $20 on a slot earn?
Slots earn 1 point for every $2 played, so $20 on a slot earns 10 points.
What happens to my points after a year away?
An account with no activity for 12 months in a row is deleted, and its points are lost with it. Points do not carry past that gap.
