About the Island concierge desk
The Island concierge desk is an independent guide to the two Red Shores casinos on Prince Edward Island. This page explains who writes it, where its facts come from and how the guide is paid for.

Who writes the guide
The guide is written and signed as the Island concierge desk. That is a shared name rather than a person, and no page carries a personal byline.
This website is not Red Shores, nor is it the Red Shores website. It has no connection with Red Shores, Atlantic Lottery or the PEI Lotteries Commission. Atlantic Lottery operates Red Shores for the Commission, and the guide is independent of both. It takes no bets and opens no accounts. Should you wish to reach a casino directly, its own site is redshores.ca.
Where the facts come from
Facts in this guide were checked on October 13, 2026. The sources were the Red Shores website at redshores.ca and documents of the Government of Prince Edward Island and its Lotteries Commission. The province's gambling-support pages and Atlantic Lottery pages were read as well. Where a live page blocked automated reading, an Internet Archive copy was read instead.
Distances come from OpenStreetMap. Each one is a straight line to the map point of a town, not to a casino door, and roads are longer.
When a detail is not published, the guide says so. Neither casino publishes accessibility details, a dress code, table minimums or holiday hours, for example. The site has no forms, comments or accounts. It keeps nothing about readers except the colour theme chosen for the browser tab.
How the guide is paid for
Paid links sit on the home page and nowhere else, each marked Ad. They appear as a button in the menu, a block below the first screen and a block near the end. They lead to one private online casino partner, which pays the guide a commission. The partner can change, so it is not named here. For the province's position on private online casinos, please see the online play page.
Questions guests ask
Is this the Red Shores website?
No, it is not. This is an independent guide with no connection to Red Shores, Atlantic Lottery or the PEI Lotteries Commission. Both casinos can be reached through redshores.ca.
When were the facts checked?
Facts in the guide were checked on October 13, 2026. Neither casino publishes holiday hours, so each casino's main phone line is the check before a holiday visit.
Why are distances measured to towns rather than casino doors?
The guide uses the OpenStreetMap point of each town, so every distance is measured the same way. These are straight lines, and roads are longer.
